Welcome to Swoosh Chalet. Our charming three-bedroom family home in Wilmington, Vermont is the perfect family getaway......or guys' weekend getaway......or girls' weekend getaway. Situated on a secluded wooded lot and outfitted with wi-fi, a cozy wood burning fireplace, and a large deck for apres ski, this space is the perfect escape for just about anybody. Add in the shopping, dining, skiing, golf, antiquing, leaf peeping and hiking and you've got yourself a fabulous four-season destination. Pets welcomed!
The Space
Unload your gear in the secure shed and come on in to Swoosh Chalet. The updated cabin has been curated with relaxation in mind. There's an open eat-in kitchen, with a dining table and granite peninsula with bar stools. The living space includes a beautiful stacked-stone wood burning fireplace for guest use. You can relax in the reading nook or play some board games while you enjoy some vintage vinyl on the turntable. Downstairs, there are three updated bedrooms, including a bunk room for the young downhillers. Additional entertaining space lies outdoors, with a front balcony that is a perfect spot for morning coffee and a large back deck equipped with a propane grill, bistro lights, separate dining space, and a comfortable outdoor seating area surrounding a propane fire table.
Swoosh Chalet resides in the Chimney Hill resort area, which boasts some great community amenities, which includes, a clubhouse, outdoor pool, indoor pool and jacuzzi, gym, movie theater, arcade, tennis / pickle ball courts and ice staking pond that our guests can enjoy during their visit.
Swoosh Chalet is also central to amazing Southern Vermont attractions including, downtown Wilmington (5 mins), Harriman Reservoir and Lake Raponda (5 mins), Mount Snow (10 mins) and Molly Stark State Park (10 mins), to name a few. We are also close to several local breweries and distilleries, for your enjoyment.
Guest Access
We want you to feel right at home. Guests will have access to the whole house, with the exception of the owner's closet and utility room, which shall remain locked. We also encourage our guests to use all outdoor areas, including the storage shed for all your gear, and the fire table on the back deck.
Pet Friendly: Have a four-legged companion? They are welcome at Swoosh with an additional $100 pet fee (per pet, 2 max limit). Just let us know if you'll be bringing your pet along.
WAIVER & RELEASE of LIABILITY
The owners urge all guests to use Swoosh Chalet's facilities and its grounds in the safest of manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to the use of stairs, grounds, bunks and appliances are done at the guest's sole risk. Guests understand that they are fully responsible for use of all features and owners shall not be liable to guest for any claims related to illness, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising out of or in connection with the misuse of facilities, natural events/disasters or general accidents on the facility grounds. Guests choosing to use the grill or fire table agree to do so safely and in accordance with house rules. Guests understand owners are not held responsible for damaged or lost personal property. Guests hereby holds owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guests understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release Liability.
